Express Yourself 12: The Republican Party Must Change
Finally the race to the white house is over and I must see it is the aftermath that has raised my eyebrow. The reason is simple; lot of people from the republican side or fox for that matter has been acting like little children. Crying foul and saying some pretty dangerous things. From Glen Beck Things I will not make a deal with the devil to Donald Trump’s calling for a revolution, to the college students in Ole Miss University protesting and yelling racial slurs after Obama won reelection. All this plus the poor coverage fox news have done doing the election had made wonder where people head are when it comes to the issued our country is facing on the daily bases.
Now I must say I not going use this blog to bash on Republicans. I don’t think all republican are bad, and no I did start yelling on the street yelling happily that Obama won. And in my own opinion I am satisfied yet he has a lot of work to do doing his second go round as presidents. And yet I am still concern about the state of the county when you have people coming out by saying they will not work with the man and ever saying we should rise up and take back this county form him. Really! This type of thinking is dangerous because you are asking people to take arm s against the presidents, putting him as well as his family in danger by any crazes maniac who could take some of these politicians by his words and try and take a shot at him. Plus, correct me if I’m wrong but is call for a revelation is considered a treason which could put anyone in jail if the dear mention it so out loud to the public?
I also want to say if the GOP party thinks by not working with Obama will help him down the road then they are wrong. It did not help in this race, and it won’t help them now. The fact you have people still thinking this is the beast way do go is nonsense. And the fact that the Republican Party is shock that they lose is to Obama just tell just how out of touch the party are in today’s changing world. And when I say out of touch I mean. Suck in their own bubble. Also let’s face Obama did not bet the Republicans, the Republicans bet themselves.

Form even saying higher education is bad thing had shock people not only in the united state but the world. And I didn’t even touch on the flip flop Mitt Romney throughout his entire campaign. Morgan Freeman had called it right when he said a few years ago in a interview that the Republican was going to put their foot in their own mouths before the 2012 election come around and boy was he right. The GOPs who was running for higher office had put there foot in their mouth again and again to the point that it had coast them to get elected or reelected in many state.
Last but defiantly not less the Republican Party never shown themselves as reaching out to women am minority voters. And the biggest mistake they also made was thinking the youth ages 18 to 30 will not turn out going to vote in this election. Bad move on the part of the GOP. Because women, minority, and young people was once again the reason Obama won a second term. Not overly religious extremist who is trying to push their religious view on other though politic. Not the openly racist who think throwing peanuts at a black woman and saying, “this is how we feed the animal is okay and acceptable; which is not. and thinking that 47% for Americans that is voting for America that will vote for Obama is looking for a handout is something which sadly echoes thought most of the GOP members.
Now do I believe what happen at this year election had spell the end of the GOP party, Hell no! But I do believe the party needs to wake up realizes that the world is changing. He way people view the world is changing and they can’t simple isolate themselves to just one small group of people (whites and religious conservatives) anymore. They need to reach out to all; black, whites, Latinos, women and most importantly young voters across the US. If they can do that, if you have a Republican who not just about the bottom line, and is open to new new ideas that could the country move forward then yes I can see the GOP returning to the white house. The Home Alone franchise has been dead in many eyes whenHome Alone 3 shifted from Kevin McAllister to an entirely new child. Though it was later rehashed once more with a made-for-TV sequel, the damage had already been done, and the series has thankfully laid dormant for 10 years. Now, ABC Family has decided to keep the sequels coming, but also bringing back the Christmas theme.
Home Alone 5: WHY?
I am not kidding. They did it. They actually did. They made yet another Home Alone movie . Home Alone: The Holiday Hest is the five in the series and the second that will be a made for TV movie on Fox Family. the movie will be a part of the countdown to the 25 days of Christmas and will star Jodelle Ferland of Tideland, Silent Hill, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Most of the detail are blurry at best but form the info I had gotten seem to be to be involved with Ferland and her little brother fight off three thieves and get this one of the tree thieves is play by Malcolme Mcdowell. Thank about it and then get back to me.
Know I must say this I like the frist HA. I even made review on the frist 2 movie and is planning to do review on the other to for Christmas. And yet after seeing the froth movie and how bad both the people and the critic pan it one must ask this very simple question. WHY!
Why the hell did you made another home alone, movie? Was their fan out they that was crying to see this movie get made. Why can’t they leave this franchise alone? WHY! WHY! FOR GOD SAKE WHY!
Look maybe I am jumping the gun her. Maybe this movie my surprise me and actually be good. Hell Home Alone 4 was bad but it was not god awful. But then again this series does not have anything left to offer and in my opinion it should be lift to rest. What do you think about this? Thoughts On The Game Heroes Retiring As well As Why All The Hate?
Let get to it, it was announce Tuesday, the 9th of October that Hansom Tom and the entire Game Heroes crew are retiring the site. The news was announced thought Channel Awesome’s That Guy With The Glasses. Come, and Blistered Thump s.com and Tom the founder of the sit had confirm it by a short thank you video to fans as well as the people he had work with over the years.
I have to say new was interesting. And it is not for the video or the podcast content they had produce on for C.A. I had found it interesting because I had never fleet they had made I big impact on the site. So when they announced the was retiring I was like okay and then click on Atop the 4th wall to see what Linkara had plain for this week episode. Now don’t go crazy, I like Hansom Tom but he was never was a draw to me when it came to me coming back to his videos or the podcast for the matter. In short he work is not for me. but that not the reason why I am writing this blog. The real reason is what was being said on the video comment section that had gotten me shaking my head.
it seems that a large part of the comment was not vary kind to Tom of the entire Team Heroes for that matter. Most of the people had even gone as far as call Tom lazy and that they were actually glad the site is coming to an end. Guy really where all this hate coming from? And are throw people what are making these comments are actually fans of sit, or at less looked at the some of their videos and, or podcast they’ve put on the site as well as Channel Awesome? I know there the situation with ScrewAttack, but that was four years ago and even Tom had address it in his video there’s hard feeling and wish to people at Screw Attack nothing but the beast. So I’ll ask again; what give?
Looked I understand that some videos are not for everyone and there may be something I not aware of. And if there is then me know because I just don’t get the hate in the comment section. As for Tom and his team at Game Heroes I will say thank you for your content and all best of luck to what project in the future.

REVIEWING 007: Skyfall Theme Song Review
Hello everyone and this is a short review of the newest James Bond theme song SkyFall by Adele. And I must say Wow was this song amazing. Not scene Duran -Duran has a theme song fit well with the overall movie. Adele voce is sensational. And the sound alone was just want I wanted to hear in a James Bond Theme.
The song wasn’t loud like Casino Royal, nor was the theme song had clucky like the previous them song, Quantum of Solace where both singer was singing over each other to the point where it other lab the other. No this was an old fashion classic sound I have not hard in a long time. Many People had commented this song reminded them of the theme song Goldfinger. And after hearing song myself I could see why. SkyFall may go down as one of the best 007 theme song of all time but then again only time will tell.

Introduction
Imagine your safe sitting in a broadways theater looking at a play about two lover wanting so desperately to be together but was torn apart by some unforeseen events around them. As the play continues, the two lovers began to seek out in the darks of nights just so they could be together. In the end they run-a-way form home and got marry in a far away village, living happily ever after. Now to you my may have found this play one of the most sadist and romantic you have ever seen. One of throws reason is because of how real the play was so close to reality, and course the love making seen at the end. You may also go as far as calling it a work of art. And yet, as you may call the play a work of art, others may call it offensive and interoperate for other to see. Other may go as far as protest the play and even demand that ceramal charges be place against throws who produces what they call trash on sage.
Now you may say to yourself that there is no way a person who had wrote a play could ever go to jail. Furthermore, there is no way a play could sure up media attention because of its contexts. Well if you live in a Town of city who has
the strictest Obscenity laws then changes are it could happen. In fact in the pass many People who had written books Magazines or movie had been prosecuted under the Obscenity laws dating back to 1957 when sex and other sensitive subject matter were suppress. also in many case in the case of Roth v the united State the court had held that any obscene publications was not protected the First Amendment. Even throw the First Amendment Prohibit against “abridging the freedom of speech or the press.” The 1957 ruling had also opened the door to endless conflicts for years to come.
Today many people believe in some cases Obscenity Laws are necessary to keep those who to may pray on the young. Others believes that having Obscenity Laws are not necessary and that People needed to take better reponabilty for what their family read, listen to, and watch on TV. But no matter what your option is on the subject one thing is clear, Obscenity Laws had impacted America business in a very big way.
Obscenity
According to the American Heritage Dictionary, the word Obscene means the Following: Offensive to accepted standards of decency, inciting lust: lewd, offensive to the senses, and outrageous. In the case of Obscenity Laws, the word obscene could fall under many categories.
A. Music
B. Movies
C. Books
D. Magazines
E. Pictures of nude people
F. Plays
G. World spoken to or near someone
All of these and more could fall under the obscenity act which varies from state to state. In Many cases Criminal charges are often bring up form throw that violated the obscenity act on a state and federal level. In other not so serious castes company or agency will enter limed or not produces material that are deem Obscene to the public. In some case like the one in (Jacobellis v Ohio 1964 ) any\ agency or business owner could be fine or sent to person if there was found to have any material that are deem obscene. In the case of Jacobellis V Ohio, the language of the law had come to light. According to William J. Brennan, Jr. “ An Affair with Freedom ,” Chapter 2, “ Nico Jacobellis; a manager at a Cleveland Motion picture theater was fined 2,5000 for exhibiting a French film, “The Lover” which was distributed throughout the United States. Jacobellis took his case to the Supreme Court, and won, but not before going thought painful process form the smaller courts. This also led the Supreme Court to reexamine the other obscene Cases as well as the First Amendment.
In 1950 California, Selling obscene books of any kind could land you in jail. In the case of Smith v California (1959) Smith was sentenced to a jail term under the Los Angeles Obscenity law. The case had rise eyebrow because it allow prosecuting anyone from selling obscene literature weather they knew about it or not. Mr. Justice Brennan, said, “It had found the Statue inconsistent with the First Amendment. A bookseller seeking to avoid criminal liability would have to undertake the impossible task of being familiar with every book in his store: the only alternative is for him to avoid selling books which may, at first glance, raise some question of obscenity.(Mr. Justice Brennan, an Affair with freedom p41.)
These are just some of the way sates had impose Obscenity Laws on society. There law along with the outcome had path the way form glided line which we see in our world today. All in which effecting the businesses world and how the disrepute there products. How we may say things to others, or viewed things on TV as well as the internet. The reason for this is simple; protection of the company and the Populate.
Obscenity and it effect on the movie industry
The Movie industry is one of the best places to go for entertainment. Doing the 1920’s, 30’s, 40’ and 50’s going to Movie Theater were a family and cultural experiences. Great classic such as the Gone with the Wind Casablanca, The wizard of Oz, is skill being shown on TV or Cable today. Another such classes, “March of the Wooden Solders: also title Babes in Toyland in shown ever holiday. In the beginning of the movie Little Bow Peep had lost all her sheep’s and the entire village of Toyland had went out looking for them leaving Bow Peep and the prices to Stay behind to awake word from the such party. If they would have shown sexual conduct of any kind, this movie would have not been realest in theater.
Doing the 1920’s and 30’s movie producers were very strict as to what was seen and not seen in there picture. These often cruse some movie to unconvincing violated sense or happy ending not connected with the real world. However doing the 40’s, 50,s and s60’s’ movie had become more violated. Kissing and smoking had become the norm. and because the movie industry is now targeting to an older audience, the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) had came up
MPAA Rating System
In the1930 the MPAA had only one code to rating their movie; The Hays Code but it as the years pass Hay code was no longer consider appropriate of the movie they was making. So in November 1 1968, the MPAA has in instituted a film rating system to help regulate and advertise parents that some of the material in seen in the movie may not be good for kids. Other reason for the rating system is to void possible prosecution by local jurisdiction. The original movie ratings were as followed:

This Rating System was use from 1968 to 1970. In 1971 the MPAA had to review the M rating because parents was not sure if M movie was more intense then the R
Rating which was original restricted for those 16 and under. In January1970 the M was replace with a GP rating lasted from 1970 to1972. That was not the only thing that was changes in 1970. The age to watch both R and X rated movie went from 16 to 17. However, Rated X movie (the only movie rated that is not a trademark of the MPAA) vary from Stated to State.
In 1971 the MPAA had add more advisories to its rating system and in February 1972 the GP rating was replace by the new PG Rating. The rated G, PG, R and X had gone unchanged for eleven years. However movies Such as” Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Gremlins had caused an uproar among from parent over its PG rating Steven Spielberg, director of Indiana Jones, and the producer of gremlins suggested a new rating be place between PG and R and so on July 1, 1984 the MPAA had add the new PG-13 was introduce as, “Parents strongly caution.”
Finally the MPAA on September 20, 1990 the MPAA had Introduced the rating NC-17. This rating replaces the X because it was more and more being use for pornographic materials then Martial which just has only strong adult them it also give the MPAA more power to rate Movie which has more adult context theme that is not subtitle of an R rated. Other reason for the NC-17 was that movies could have more marking power them they would have under the X rating system. This was due largely in part by newspapers and television station refusal to advertise anything that was rated X.
The conservancy
For almost forty years the MPAA had done their best to rate the movies according to their subject matter. And yet despised all there effect, movie are sill ponds to obscenity law. One of the reasons is the way the movie is mad and geared toward children. Another reason is ages of the Actors/Actresses and what they have been depicted to do on camera. Sex had also play a part in the Movie Industry were in many cases an actor’s pretending to be teenager are having unprotected sex, doing drugs or drinking alcohol. This movies were not only criticizes by parents but by regions leader and member of congress as well. Over the years new laws had been impose against the Movie Industry form producing such movie in their State. The most recent was in 2007 when the State of North Carolina had made a law prohibiting any movie form bing made there is any simulated sex of a minor of and this was set off largely in part of the movie “Hound Hog,” staring Dakota Fannie, where she portrayed a 13 year old rape victim in 1950 Alabama.
The movie Industry also had to deal with product placement. In today world it no longer accusable to showed smoking in movie that are gear to a younger audience And finally, animated movie which would have gotten a G rating in the 60’s, 70’s 80’s and early 90’s are now getting an PG Rating due to how much volances is shown thought the movie.
Obscenity on T.V
Thought out the years, Television had also been a topic obscenity. The reason for this is because most of the programming is shown between 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm were everyone is usually home and watching T.V. form the hours of 7:00 to nine Many families use to sit down together and watch something that was appropriate for everyone . this was known as the family hour however that time slot have been replace with shows that been deem inappropriate for young fewer. Some of these shows had even gone as far as showing sexuality at a time when children were skill watching TV. There is also the fact that cartoon and shows which gear themselves toward children, had been showing more and more volerlates then what they had had doing the 60’s and 70’s. this force the television industry to come up with there on rating system so the parents finger out what show is appropriate for their children. Parents were also giving the power to block out show by using a v-chip. This was put in new television that was mad for 2000 and is in all TV to this day. The V-chip also give the shows rating as well as the show’s content so the parents con decide water to block the show of to let it run. The TV rating system is being monitor by the TV Parental Guidelines Monitoring Board (T.V.P.G.M.B).
The Gamming Industry
Ding the 1990, the video industry had mad games for aultd rather than children. One game, Mortal Kombat. Had led to an uproar about the graphic violates in the video game this also lead to the gaming industry to come up with their own rating system doing to help separate the game that are geared for adult form the games gear towards children. Over the years the rating systems had gone thought some change yet it had also help parents to better chose what games that are appropriate for their children.
Obscenity overall
In a classroom of student age 19 to 33 93% had never heard of obscenity law. In all 100% believes it is not the responsibility of the government to see what is, and what is not deem Obscene to the people. However all believed that the rating system is necessary to help them pick what’s appropriate for their kids to watch, read, and music to listen too. To this day Obscenity law continue to be in conflicted with the first amendment this is because people has they own way of interfering and because of this ,obscenity law will always be view in the supreme court. However if Obscenity really a bad thing? Will to many congress men including, president Bark Obama, the fell that Obscenity laws law is not only necessary to protect young people for explicat sceeen and being exported them self for other who wish do do them harm.
